Expanding the Scope of Attorneys’ Activities

As the activities of attorneys diversify, more and more attorneys play an active role within companies, central ministries and agencies, local public entities, and other organizations as “in-house lawyers,” utilizing their expertise and experience as attorneys. As of January 2018, the number of corporate in-house lawyers exceeded 2,100, and there were around 200 attorneys in the civil service.

The JFBA has focused its efforts on enabling attorneys to demonstrate their abilities even more in various forms in society, presenting choices of diversified working styles to its members by sharing job information from such organizations.
