LAWASIA's Human Rights Committee, in association with the Japan Federation of Bar Associations (JFBA) and the Fukuoka Bar Association, is pleased to invite the participation of members and legal professionals at the 4th LAWASIA Human Rights Conference to be held in-person in Fukuoka, Japan.

- International Participants, LAWASIA Members: 20,000JPY(Equivalent of 150USD)
- International Participants, Non-LAWASIA Members: 27,000JPY(Equivalent of 200USD)
The amount of payment might fluctuate depending on changes in the exchange rate.
Fees include attendance at Welcome Reception, Opening and Closing Ceremonies and all sessions. The member registration category is available only to current individual LAWASIA members.

Non-members may join or renew their LAWASIA membership prior to registering for the conference, to receive the discounted member rates.

Important Notes

■ Refund / Cancellation / No Show Policy

  1. If you wish to cancel your place, you must notify the Japan Federation of Bar Associations (JFBA) in writing at international@nichibenren.or.jp
  2. The following terms will apply to any notice of cancellation of attendance at the Conference received by the JFBA:

    • Up to and including July 14th, 2023: 50% of the full registration fee will be refunded

    • From July 15th, 2023: no refund will be provided, substitutions are accepted (the JFBA must be informed in writing at the above email address of all substitutions by August 18th, 2023.)

  3. Please note that this cancellation policy still applies should you have difficulties in obtaining your visa and are unable to attend the Conference.

■ Travel Arrangements and Visas

Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. It is recommended that you check your visa requirements with your local embassy or consulate. The JFBA is unable to dispatch visa invitation letters to support your visa application prior to receipt of your registration and full payment of registration fees. Please apply for your visa in good time.  If you need to apply for a visa, please contact at his525-desk@his-world.com

■ Privacy Policy

Your personal information will be strictly managed in accordance with the privacy policy of the JFBA and will be used for the affairs of this event. The obtained personal information may be statistically processed and analyzed, and the results may be published in a state where no individual will be identified.

Your personal information will also be provided to the LAWASIA Secretariat located in Australia, so please read below before registering and agreeing to participate.
