ILAC Public Seminar "A Necessary Challenge: Building Resilient and Responsive Justice Institutions in Fragile and Repressive Countries"
The International Legal Assistance Consortium (the “ILAC”) will hold its Annual General Meeting from May 11 to 13, 2017 in Tokyo. On this occasion, the ILAC, JFBA and JICA would like to invite participants to the Public Seminar on Assistance for Peace-building and Reconstruction of Justice.
The ILAC is a consortium of legal and judicial organizations which assist in peace-building activities for conflict-affected and fragile countries, mainly in the Middle East and North Africa. The JFBA is also a member of the ILAC.
In this seminar, the valuable experiences of the speakers in the peace-building process of various countries, including East Timor, will be introduced, as well as the details of some of the ILAC’s projects.
Please do not miss this valuable opportunity to learn more about the reality of peace-building assistance and international legal technical assistance.
