On February 8, 2008, the Japan Federation of Bar Associations elected its next President for 2008 April - 2010 March. The final vote count was confirmed by the Election Committee on February 15, 2008, and Mr. Makoto Miyazaki, a member of the JFBA and the Osaka Bar Association, was elected as the new President.
