On February 10, 2006, the Japan Federation of Bar Associations elected its next President for 2006 April - 2008 March. The final vote count was confirmed by the Election Committee on February 17, 2006, and Mr. Seigoh Hirayama, a member of the JFBA and the Tokyo Bar Association, was elected as the new President.
